Happy Birthday Dad

Tomorrow is my dad's birthday. I know you shouldn't always brag, but, I have the best dad ever. He is the perfect example of a great dad. Without fail he has always been there for not only me, but my siblings and more importantly my mom. If we ever needed anything here comes dad to the rescue!!! As a child growing up he taught me important principles like how to respect others, how to love everyone no matter how imperfect they are, to see the best in everyone, how to manage money ( I am still working on that one), how to be responsible for your own actions, how to be the best person you can be, how there is nothing more important then the role of a mother and most importantly how to ski, camp and fish. Growing up my dad taught me how to ski ( with many patience mind you), I will always treasure those saturdays that it was just me and my dad. He would treat me like I was the most important person in his life that day, totally spoiling me with whatever I wanted ( most of the time it was pizza). Those moments I will treasure forever. There is nothing like a daddy daughter date. My dad was always there to remind me how beautiful I was inside and out ( even when I did not feel like it). I have the best dad ever and unfortunately I do not tell him enough. Thank you dad for EVERYTHING you do and have done. I could not of asked for a better dad then you. Thank you for all your little life lessons you taught me.... I was paying attention. I hope you have a great birthday and I love you forever and forever!!!

Happy Birthday Quinton

July 12 Quinton turned the Big 31!!!! Even though he hates that he is getting older  we still celebrated. We went out to dinner with his family at Casa Grande ( I swear that he was born in the wrong country) then the next day had dinner at our friends house Justin and Tiffany. It was fabulous to have our family and friends there to help us celebrate Quinton. Sydney made a great book that she colored all by herself and I got him the first 2 seasons of LOST ( his is obsessed with "Lost"). Happy Birthday sweetheart, you are an amazing husband and father. I love how our little girls love you so much. You are my best friend and I can not wait to spend an eternity with you. Happy Birthday Quinton, I love you so much.

3 Months old

Where has all the time gone? I can not believe that Bella is already 3 months old. She is almost 11 lbs and is doing much better now that she is on her hypoallergenic formula. She loves to smile all the time, and is starting to try and grab things with her hands. And does she have a good grip, it is like a death grip personally. It is amazing how much of a difference there is when your child feels good. Pure bliss. I can not imagine our life without our little princess.

How could you not love this smile

I took some pictures of the girls in their matching 4th of July outfits. Personally I think they look so cute. O how I love these girls.

Happy 4th of July???

I know this post is late again, but how about late then never. We had quit the eventful 4th of July weekend. The saturday before my parents, brother and his family all came up to Woodland Park to go fishing. It was a blast fishing and eating great food. Sydney loves to fish and could not get enough of it. However,   Colorado has over 300 days of sunshine a year. So naturally you would think on the one night a year that you need a nice evening you would have one right? Well unfortunately for the SECOND year in a row we had a major rain storm and some serious hail that was over the size of a quarter. Seriously, it is the most depressing thing ever to be sitting inside your home watching hail come down..... for the second time. However, this is not all a sad story, the next evening my family, Quinton's family and friends all went to the Symphony Above the Clouds concert where there were fireworks. It was wonderful to all be together with great music and end the evening with fireworks. Sydney loved the fireworks so much, well, after she got use to the fact that they are so loud. Bella somehow slept through them... awesome. Hopefully, we will have better luck next year.

Coming out of the Closet

So I have a little secret that I would like to share with everyone. I have only made one other post about this a very long time ago. I am a huge Twihard. I LOVE TWILIGHT!!!! I have read all 4 books in 3 weeks, and since then read them multiple times. Why I am coming out now? ECLIPSE just came out to theaters and I am so sticken excited to see it on friday. Man, I feel so much better now that I have that off my chest. My sister is the one that got me into it, and since the, my sister and I have gotten my mom hooked on it as well. But I am pretty sure she is not ready for the world to know that she loves Twilight too. Let me just clear up some things, I am not one of those maniac crazy Twihard moms that have a card board cut out of Edward or Jacob.  Well, maybe a small one.... just kidding. However, I just like the books and movies a lot. I think they are fabulous and to anyone that has not read the books, I strongly suggest you do.

Bella's Blessing

I know I am a few weeks behind but on June 13, 2010 our sweet little Bella was blessed in our church. It was such incredible moment and Bella did great... not a single peep. Quinton gave a wonderful blessing and we are so blessed to have her in our family. My brother and his family, Quinton's brother and his family all came up. And thanks to our wonderful friends Justin and Tiffany we had a great luncheon at their house afterwards. It was a wonderful day. Bella looked beautiful in her dress ( which my dad bought for her). We love you little princess Bella!!!

The Circus

A couple of weeks ago Quinton and I took the girls to the Circus. O my gosh, it was so much fun. I loved it!!! Of course Sydney's favorite part was the the tigers and Elephants. She saw the guys on stilts and said

"Look Daddy, they are tall like you". Of course Quinton is tall, but not that tall. Either way, it was really funny and we all had a blast. We are definitely be going back next year.
