3 weeks old

Howdy everyone!!! I can not believe that our little Bella is already 3 weeks old. Truthfully, where does the time go? It seems like the last 3 weeks of pregnancy goes by so slow, then when you have your baby time just flies by. Anyways, Bella is doing great. She still wakes up only once a night ( usually around 2 or 3 am) and is just wonderful. Patience is not one of her best traits unfortunately, however she only really cries when she is tired or hungry. Sydney is a great big sister and we are working on how to give Bella hugs that don't hurt her. Besides that everyone is doing great.

Stubborn Spider

I do not like spiders. That is plain and simple, if a spider is in my house I will kill it ( or have some one kill it for me). I have this on going battle with this spider in my house. I have only seen this spider once and quickly tried to kill it, but it got away before we could smash it. However, this is not the problem, this spider keeps on making a spider web in the corner of my kitchen. I have gotten rid of this spider web countless times and low and behold then next day it will be there again. It is driving me insane!!! This spider web makes my kitchen feel dirty and it continues to get bigger and bigger the longer I leave it alone. I have no idea what to do especially since I have only seen this spider once. If there are any suggestions please let me know, I need some help!!!

13 days old

Here is Bella at 13 days old. As of 2 days ago she was 6 lbs 14 oz, she is finally above her birth weight!!! She has been gaining about 1 oz a day. My sister wanted to see how small she is so Sydney's baby doll was the closet's thing to her length. Sydney wanted to be in the pictures as well so this is the girls next to each other. When I was younger I always said that my children would always be perfect. Everyone always laughed at me but I stood by my notions. When I had Sydney I knew that she would be pretty darn close... and she was. When I was pregnant with Bella everyone told me that Bella would not be as easy as Sydney. That no one has 2 easy children in a row. However,  I have managed to accomplish this somehow again. Bella is an amazing child ( and yes, I am quite aware that she is only 13 days old and all this could easily change). Anyways, Bella only wakes up once a night. I feed her around 10 pm, she wakes up around 2-3 am for her feeding. Then the next time she is awake is around 7 am. I love this schedule and hopefully she will stick to this schedule. Here are some random pictures of what has been going on in our family. Bella is doing great and still is as small and sweet as ever. Sydney is the best big sister, she loves Bella so much and is always giving her hugs and kisses. Quinton and I just love having our little girls in our family and life could not be better right now.

Our April Fools Baby

So this all started last wednesday when I went to my doctor for an appointment, low and behold I was 3 cm dilated and 80% effaced. So we decided to have me induced the next day to make sure that my doctor will be there to deliver Bella. To make a long story short I was in labor for 7.5 hours which included 2.5 hours of pushing. Yet again like Sydney, Bella was a little crocked so they had to use the vacuum to get Bella out. To make matters worse Bella had her umbilical cord wrapped around her Torso twice so that made it even harder for me to push her out. With 4 more pushes she finally came to this world at 6:26 pm on April 1, 2010 ( yes, she is a April Fools baby). She weighed 6 lbs 12 oz and 19.5 inches long. She has really dark brown hair with an olive skin tone. This is completely different coloring from Sydney. To me personally I do not think they look anything alike, but time will tell. She is perfectly healthy baby girl. We are so excited to have her join our family. As for Sydney she is doing great, she tells me all the time how much she loves baby sister and always is giving her kisses ( I know that this can easily change any day).  We got home on Saturday and spend Easter Sunday at home as a family. It was great. I am recovering 100% faster then I did with Sydney and have already lost 14 lbs of my 23 lbs that I gained ( only 8 more to go...).

She is here!!!!

Hello everyone, sorry about the delay but our little Bella has joined our family. On april 1, 2010 Bella Luciana came into this world at 6:26 pm. I was only in labor for 7 1/2 hours ( mind you that includes 2.5 hours of pushing). She weighed 6 lbs 12 oz and 19.5 inches long. I will have pictures very soon. Both Bella and I are doing great and thanks to everyone for all of their prayers.
