To make a long story short we unfortunately are no longer going to be having our new "little addition" to our family anymore. Everyone is fine and well.

Let it snow....

So we live in this beautiful state Colorado. Surprisingly our winter this year has been really calm ( and I was loving it) however, spring up here is when we get most of our snow. Lately within the last month we have already had about 3 -4 snow storms. The last one unfortunately was on Easter, however, we got word that a really big snowstorm was coming. So we waited, then on Thursday it arrived. This was certainly the strangest weather I have ever seen, they called it Thunder snow. Yes, Thunder snow, while it was raining this stuff called Gravel ( a mixture of rain, hail and snow) there was also thunder and lighting. So weird, I have never seen anything like it before.
Anyways, finally the snow came, and came and kept on coming. So it started snowing Thursday night and just finished Sunday morning. We have almost 2 FEET of snow and have been house bound since Thursday. Finally on Saturday we had to get out. So we got all bundled up ( Sydney included) and went to look around our apartment. It was fun, but really cold and windy. And yes, that is my car in the second the last picture that in under all the snow. Anyways, we all survived and are so excited to get out today ( Sunday) we all are starting to get some cabin fever. Anyways, you gotta love all the reasons why we live in Colorado. The amazing beauty in just breath taking. Hope you all enjoy the pictures!!!

Happy Anniversary...

Okay, so this is a little late but o well. On March 18 Quinton and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary. I can not believe that 3 years have already flown by. We went out to a nice restaurant and just talked. It was a wonderful evening to just spend with my husband... the best one in the world.... sorry ladies. The funny thing is that our first Anniversary I was pregnant, 2nd one, we had Sydney, our 3rd one, I was pregnant again. Kind of a funny pattern we are following. Anyway, it has been a incredible 3 years sweat heart, may we have a eternity more. Love ya babe!!!

18 Months

First I would like to apologize that I have not written a lot about Sydney lately. I was going over our blog and realized that she has kind of been left out. So here goes, our little girl is 18 months now and is so much fun. I love it!!! She talks all the time now, some English, some her language. Quinton says it sounds like some strange language from Star Wars or something. It is hilarious. She still loves puppies and kitties and anytime she sees one she either woofs or meow's. She loves to look at her books, she has a little couch and she will sit there and go through and act like she is reading every single book. She is very much a girl, she loves to play dress up with her sunglasses, necklaces, bracelets, purses and any of my shoes she can find ( higher the heel the better). I have many pictures of her unique sense of fashion. She loves her daddy soooooo much, and even, loves to say bye-bye to anyone leaving our home. She loves to give kisses ( juicier the better). Recently she started saying Grandma or actually it comes out "Mam ma" I am "Momma/Mommy". She loves to sing, yes I said sing, dance and most of all..... talk on the phone. Anytime I am on my phone she has to talk to whoever I am, and she will. She truly is a joy in our life and we can not wait until she is a big sister. She will be awesome.

Good ole' friends...

A couple of weekends ago Quinton's good friend Jake came by for a visit from Denver for the weekend. It has been about 4 years since the last time they saw each other. It was also really nice to meet Jake for the first time too, however, I can not say the same thing for Sydney. No matter how hard we tried she was not warming up to well to Jake. I felt so bad, maybe next time she will be better. It was a wonderful weekend, Quinton and Jake got to play one night with Quinton's friend Jason. They also had a little jam session Sunday after noon. Here is a video of Jake and Quinton just playing around. Enjoy!!!

Seeing old Friends

This last week I have had a chance to see a whole bunch of old friends from my single days. I first saw Ali who was here for a week from Japan. It has been about 4 years since the last time we saw each other. We were able to have lunch and meet each others kids. Ali has two, Breck and Jade. They were so cute. It was wonderful to see her again. The next night Quinton and I went to some friends house for a birthday party. We saw a whole bunch of more friends that we have not seen in a really really long time. The last time we were all together none of us were married. Now look at us, married with kids. Where does the time go? Here are the girls, Jaquie, Janell, Britnay and Me. Then next picture is our kids, Caeven, Gavin, Sydney and Eliana. Enjoy the pictures. It was wonderful to see everyone again.

The next American Idol???

As most of you know our little girl loves to sing and dance. We always new that she was musical, even when I was pregnant with her she would always kick when she heard music or when Quinton was playing his guitar. Anyways, here is a video of Sydney singing. We think it is the cutest thing ever. Also here is a cute upclose picture of Sydney that I took. We are hoping she will try out for American Idol in about 15 years. Hope you enjoy it!!!

Valentines Day

Well this is a little late but we hope that everyone had a great valentines day. Quinton got me a beautiful red rose with a great card. Later that night Quinton, Sydney and I had a nice dinner with our friends Justin, Tiffany and their daughter Avery. It was a great dinner, and the company was even better. After dinner we watched a scary movie ( I know, I was out voted for the chick flick) and had hot sundae's. It was wonderful and the girls love playing together. I think they had more fun then we did. Hope every one's Valentines day was a great as ours.

Going to the Zoo...

Yep, you read that right. Some would think, why go to the zoo in January with 2 toddlers? However, it was a wonderful day it was actually about 48 degree's. Really nice for Colorado, so since our little girls were getting cabin fever, we took them to the zoo. It was such a wonderful day, we went with our best friends Tiffany and her daughter Avery. The girls loved all the animals ( well most of them, Sydney was terrified of the Giraffes and Gorilla's). Besides that, it was a great day just hanging out with friends.

16 Months old

Can you all believe it. Our little girl is 16 months old. Where does the time go? Sydney is the joy of our lives, she is continually changing everyday. She talks all the time to us at home, however, it is not necessarily the same thing out in public. It is wonderful to have actual conversations with her. She can tell us ( for the most part) what she wants. She still loves dogs and continues to bark anytime she See's one or hears one. She loves to play hide and go seek, being chased by us makes her run and scream like crazy. She also loves to sing and dance ( yes our little girl can shake her booty). She is very much a girl that she loves to wear shoes ( yes, she still brings the shoes to me), loves to wear jewelry, tries to put make-up on when she See's me doing it and loves to brush her hair. Yes, she is girl through and through. She still is a major daddy's girl and know she can get practically anything she wants from Quinton. And for those starring and glarring looks she gives people practically every time she See's someone, well lets just say she is still doing that. Here are some recent pictures of our little girl. Enjoy!!!

The cutest smile you will ever see

Please Mom, no pictures!!!!

The glare we love so much!!!

My little fashion Model

Our little girl Sydney is growing up to fast, she is already 16 months old... and we do not like it one bit. She talks our ear off ( mostly only at home) and laughs and plays all day. She is such a happy little girl. We love our little Sydney so much. Lately she likes to try and dress herself. One particular day while still wearing her P.J's she wanted to wear her diaper covers on her head and these really cute shoes that she has. As you may already tell she has a fashion forward sense. This is what resulted in her decisions..

A small Confesion...

As most you know I am not a huge reader. Well to put it bluntly I don't like to read at all. So when Quinton gave me a book for Christmas ( sort of a joke, sort of not), I think he was trying to tell me he wants me to read. What is this book that he gave me you ask? Twilight. So when after Quinton and I saw the movie, it got me curious and so I started to read the book. To make a long story short, I read all 4 of the Twilight Series books in 2 weeks. Yes, all 2,444 pages I read in 2 weeks. They actually were really really good. Quinton was so happy and proud of me. Even to the point where he has finished "Twilight" and is now reading "New Moon". I can not say if i will continue to always read like this, but it was a fun experience. I can not wait till the movie "New moon" come out in November!!!
