Okay, so this is a very exciting post for me today. I have been waiting a while and making sure everything was going okay before I put this up on our blog. What you may be asking.... well I am pregnant again!!! Yeah, we are so excited to be having another baby to our little family. I am currently 11 1/2 weeks along and my due date is April 9, 2010. Only 8-9 more weeks till we find out the sex of the baby!!!
So far everything is going great, besides being super nauseous all the time. We heard the babies heart beat for the first time yesterday and it was magical. I did not want to say anything to anyone until I saw my doctor and I could hear the heart beat. Now that we got that cleared the whole world can know now. Sydney is very excited as well, she thinks she is pregnant with a baby too. She is consistently lifting up her shirt so she can show me her baby in her belly. It is the cutest thing. Sydney and the baby will be about 2 1/2 years apart and we love the spacing between them. We will keep you all posted with all the progress.
And yes, for those people wondering if I already have a baby bump.... just a small one.

Some bad news...
So one of the drawbacks to living so high up in the mountains are the storms. Even though they are so beautiful with all the colors and the lightning everywhere, the lightning can get pretty close. Unfortunately one day I did not get to my computer fast enough to turn it off and BANG... a HUGE lightning strike right next to our house. The result was we lost power for a minute and our computer died. Yes, my sweet computer from college has died. So that is pretty much the main reason on why I have not updated our blog in a couple of weeks. Quinton and I are trying to figure out the cheapest way to fix it. I hate being without the Internet... I feel so out of touch with the world. So this post is coming off of my parents computer.
Everyone is fine and doing well in our little family. Sydney is growing and talking more and more everyday. Her hair is now down to her shoulders and she has beautiful Blonde curls. I love it. She is going to be turning 2 next month, so I will do a big post about that... can you believe our little girl is going to be 2.
On another bad note, my father - in- law got into a terrible car accident a couple of weeks ago in Gunnison. Thank goodness he is still here with us, unfortunately I can not say the same thing for his car. He ended up with 5 fractured vertebrae in his neck, 2 in his back, 9 broken ribs and a collapsed lung. After spending almost 2 weeks in the hospital, he is finally home. YEAH!!! WE have missed him so much and I know we all have been worry sick over him. I would like to say thank you to everyone for all the prayers, love and support. He is doing better and better everyday.

A Child Family Reunion
So again, I post about how I am late about posting stuff. My reasoning are not really good, I just never got around to it. But nether less, here it is. In June my family had a CHILD reunion. The main reason was that my sister and her husband was going to be in Utah for the weekend and since we were going to see her, might as well see everyone else. It was an amazing weekend, I loved seeing my sister again ( it has been 2 years since the last time I saw her), she got to meet Sydney and see the rest of our cousins. We went to a Temple Open House, that in it self was absolutely amazing and beautiful. To be in the Temple with all of my family ( my parents, siblings, Quinton and Sydney) was a unforgettable morning that I will always cherish forever. Then last we met up with the rest of our family and had a huge BBQ at the church. There were so many of us, that we had no where else to go. I loved seeing cousins, aunts and uncles that I have not seen in many years. What a wonderful and cherished time we had together

. On Sunday we went to see the Spoken Word, at the end of the broadcast we were tolled that the Prophet was there. I could not believe it, I have never met the prophet or seen him before in person. It was truly a special moment. Then we all went back to my aunts house for an amazing lunch and dinner. On Monday and Tuesday we devoted to spending time with Quinton's side of the family. He has all of his aunts, uncles, cousins, both sets of grandparents that all live in Utah and Wyoming. I was so glad that Sydney got to meet and get to know better her great grandparents. She is the only Great Grand daughter on both side, so it was a lot of fun. To make things even better we got to see Quinton's brother Colter and his new wife Holly. They just moved to Utah and are attending BYU... go Cougars!!! Even though it was only a couple of weeks ago that we saw them. We got to see their apartment which is literally a block away from the Provo Temple.... Amazing. On Tuesday we drove up to Wyoming to spend the day with Quinton's Aunt Karen and her family. They are so sweet and were so good to us. It truly was an amazing weekend full of fun, laughs and most of all love. It was probably the most special seeing my sister since visits are rare and few ( it can be hard when you live all the way in Alabama). Thank you to everyone, we love you all!!!

An Awesome fighter pilot
So a couple of weeks ago my cousin David got to fly down to Colorado Springs for a couple of hours. So naturally my parents and I went to see him and his plane ( which is an A-10 for those who want to know). It was so much fun seeing him again. He is unfortunately going to be deployed soon so this made this visit even better. He is such an amazing guy and even better fighter pilot and we wish him good luck. We are so proud of you David!!!

Durango
So we have a tradition that we do every year with Quinton's family, we go to Durango Co. Rick Quinton's dad is way into cycling and always does a race down there in Durango. WE love it!!!! Rick won both of his races, and we are so proud of him. It was just nice to get away for the weekend to somewhere else. Sydney did great the whole weekend. She really could not be any easier. Well there are tons more that I could say but I will just let you all look at all the pictures. Enjoy!!!

A long overdue hello...
Well hello everyone. It has been a little while since my last post. Here is the reason why, I like to take pictures and because of that I have a lot of pictures on my computer. I had so many pictures on my computer that I really could not do anything but check my email. So to make a long story short, we had to end up buying an external hard drive to put all my pictures on. I had a little over 17,000 pictures that I had to put onto our hard drive. So now that we have a ton more space, I am back.

A little proud moment
I have some very exciting news for everyone, I am not someone who usually goes about telling about all my accomplishments. However, this one I can make an excuse. I recently have lost about 21 1/2 pounds ( yes, 21.5 pounds), I am very proud of myself and all that I have accomplished. I am about 95 % to my goal and 85 % there for my ultimate goal but that is a whole other post. Unfortunately I am not going to post any pictures ( the fat ones are just to embarrassing). I hope everyone is doing well, and I would like to thank everyone for your love and concern the last couple weeks. We all are doing great and are so excited for the summer to come with all it's activities.

Let it snow....
So we live in this beautiful state Colorado. Surprisingly our winter this year has been really calm ( and I was loving it) however, spring up here is when we get most of our snow. Lately within the last month we have already had about 3 -4 snow storms. The last one unfortunately was on Easter, however, we got word that a really big snowstorm was coming. So we waited, then on Thursday it arrived. This was certainly the strangest weather I have ever seen, they called it Thunder snow. Yes, Thunder snow, while it was raining this stuff called Gravel ( a mixture of rain, hail and snow) there was also thunder and lighting. So weird, I have never seen anything like it before.
Anyways, finally the snow came, and came and kept on coming. So it started snowing Thursday night and just finished Sunday morning. We have almost 2 FEET of snow and have been house bound since Thursday. Finally on Saturday we had to get out. So we got all bundled up ( Sydney included) and went to look around our apartment. It was fun, but really cold and windy. And yes, that is my car in the second the last picture that in under all the snow. Anyways, we all survived and are so excited to get out today ( Sunday) we all are starting to get some cabin fever. Anyways, you gotta love all the reasons why we live in Colorado. The amazing beauty in just breath taking. Hope you all enjoy the pictures!!!

Happy Anniversary...
Okay, so this is a little late but o well. On March 18 Quinton and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary. I can not believe that 3 years have already flown by. We went out to a nice restaurant and just talked. It was a wonderful evening to just spend with my husband... the best one in the world.... sorry ladies. The funny thing is that our first Anniversary I was pregnant, 2nd one, we had Sydney, our 3rd one, I was pregnant again. Kind of a funny pattern we are following. Anyway, it has been a incredible 3 years sweat heart, may we have a eternity more. Love ya babe!!!

18 Months
First I would like to apologize that I have not written a lot about Sydney lately. I was going over our blog and realized that she has kind of been left out. So here goes, our little girl is 18 months now and is so much fun. I love it!!! She talks all the time now, some English, some her language. Quinton says it sounds like some strange language from Star Wars or something. It is hilarious. She still loves puppies and kitties and anytime she sees one she either woofs or meow's. She loves to look at her books, she has a little couch and she will sit there and go through and act like she is reading every single book. She is very much a girl, she loves to play dress up with her sunglasses, necklaces, bracelets, purses and any of my shoes she can find ( higher the heel the better). I have many pictures of her unique sense of fashion. She loves her daddy soooooo much, and even, loves to say bye-bye to anyone leaving our home. She loves to give kisses ( juicier the better). Recently she started saying Grandma or actually it comes out "Mam ma" I am "Momma/Mommy". She loves to sing, yes I said sing, dance and most of all..... talk on the phone. Anytime I am on my phone she has to talk to whoever I am, and she will. She truly is a joy in our life and we can not wait until she is a big sister. She will be awesome.
