Some bad news...

So one of the drawbacks to living so high up in the mountains are the storms. Even though they are so beautiful with all the colors and the lightning everywhere, the lightning can get pretty close. Unfortunately one day I did not get to my computer fast enough to turn it off and BANG... a HUGE lightning strike right next to our house. The result was we lost power for a minute and our computer died. Yes, my sweet computer from college has died. So that is pretty much the main reason on why I have not updated our blog in a couple of weeks. Quinton and I are trying to figure out the cheapest way to fix it. I hate being without the Internet... I feel so out of touch with the world. So this post is coming off of my parents computer.

Everyone is fine and doing well in our little family. Sydney is growing and talking more and more everyday. Her hair is now down to her shoulders and she has beautiful Blonde curls. I love it. She is going to be turning 2 next month, so I will do a big post about that... can you believe our little girl is going to be 2.

On another bad note, my father - in- law got into a terrible car accident a couple of weeks ago in Gunnison. Thank goodness he is still here with us, unfortunately I can not say the same thing for his car. He ended up with 5 fractured vertebrae in his neck, 2 in his back, 9 broken ribs and a collapsed lung. After spending almost 2 weeks in the hospital, he is finally home. YEAH!!! WE have missed him so much and I know we all have been worry sick over him. I would like to say thank you to everyone for all the prayers, love and support. He is doing better and better everyday.

Dear Stephanie & Quinton,
We were very to hear of your loss. We will be keeping you in our thoughts.
We had also been unaware of the accident involving Q's Dad. If you would be kind enough to send us the home address we would like to put a card in the mail for him.
Sydney is growing up beautifully and you are right it is hard to believe she is almost 2. Time truly flies.
If you would send me your home address I will put the promised pictures of Quinton's long hair days with Paul and the band.
Our love to all of you,
Sharon & David Oldfield
