Sydney has now discovered that she has a voice and she loves to hear it. She especially loves to hear her voice at 6 Am ( fun huh). She wakes up and just talks, and talks, and talks just to let you know that she is awake. She really loves to hear her voice and let me tell you, she has a lot to say. But here is a video of her saying hello to everyone.

Sydney laughing
Okay, here is the video I have been trying so hard to get. Since Sydney very randomly and rearly laughs is makes it harder to get on camera. Unfortunately you will also hear me making funny noises at her... ( sorry) But hope you all enjoy the video as much as we do.

Happy New Year!!!
It is truly hard to believe that it is already 2008. Where does the time go? Quinton and I went on a date ( the firs
t time alone since Sydney was born). My parents watched Sydney while we went out to dinner, saw a movie ( National Treasurer... so good) and then we HAD to chaperon the Youth dance ( fun huh). Besides chaperoning the dance it was wonderful to go out on a date with my husband. It was kinda weird not having to watch a baby and then we thought this was our life before she came into our world. It is amazing how fast your life changes. Speaking of our little girl, she is almost 3 1/2 months old. Can you believe it, me neither. She has already doubled her birth weight and is almost 11 pounds and
becoming a little chunker. She smiles all the time ( even to strangers) and giggles with Quinton. Since her giggles are so speratic it is hard to get a video of her doing it. However, it is the most wonderful and cute sound I have ever heard my entire life. I love how her whole face
lights up when she looks and smiles at us. It makes my days worth it when I get her up in the morning and she is just smiling at me. I love it. And I am proud to say that Sydney now sleeps all through the night. Yep, that is what I said. She goes to bed around 10:30 -11 pm and wakes up around 6:30- 7 am. I love that she is sleeping more and that I get to have more sleep. Life is wonderful. Well we all hope you ha
d a great New years and we'll keep you all updated on Sydney. Click here to view more pictures of Sydney.

A White Christmas
ould want more? You think since we live in Colorado that we would have lots of White Christmas's but actually not to often. However, this year we did. It snowed about 5-6 inches and it snowed all day. Which made our Christmas a little more difficult because we had to go to both of our parents houses ( that are about a hour apart from each other). Snow, rain, or whatever kind of weather we had could not keep us away from our families on Christmas. This was Sydney's first Christmas, thank goodness she won't remember it because she got really s
ick for the first time on Christmas eve. Our poor little girl was so sick and just wanted to be held and loved by her parents and not traveling all over Colorado. Besides the snow and having a sick baby we had a great Christmas. We both just love hanging out and spending time with our families. So there are not too many pictures of Sydney this Christmas only because she was not in a picture taking mood (who is
when they are sick) but we have a few. Thank you all to those that sent us Christmas cards and gifts. We hope you all had a wonderful and safe
Christmas. Click for more pic.Posted by Stephanie Montgomery at 10:56 AM 0 comments

Quinton's Tiling
I
am so proud of my husband. He works so hard for our little family. He recently took pictures of a tiling job, and if I do say so myself I think it turned out really well. I am just happy that I finally have a picture of some of his work. So if any of you need something tiled just look up Quinton (he also does hair).

It's my Birthday...
d do I feel it more then ever j/k. But my birthday was absolutely wonderful. Quinton took me to a Trans- Siberian Orchestra concert on Dec. 5, gave me some beautiful roses and also cut and highlighted my hair ( the joys of being married to a hair stylist). He is so wonderful to me. Sydney even slept all night as her present to me as well ( or I like to think of it as a present) We also went to my parents ward then later had a family dinner at their house as well. My b
rother, sister-in-law and all of their kids came as well to the dinner. It was such a wonderful time to be with my family. MY birthday was also the 2 year anniversary of when Quinton proposed to me ( how romantic). I still can not believe that I am 25 years old, been married for almost 2 years and has a 2 1/2 month old daughter. Where does the time go. Time has gone to fast but I have had a wonderful life with many family and friends to share it with. Thank you to all that called me and sent me birthday cards.
You all are great.Posted by Stephanie Montgomery at 11:53 AM 0 comments

Sydney's Blessing
ust love it. And to make it even better our little Sydney got blessed on Sunday December 2. I still can not believe that she is 2 months already... Amazing how time flies. But back to the blessing, it was an absolutely beautiful day. Quinton did a wonderful job and said wonderful things. My parents, Quinton's parents, brothers, sister-in-law and nephews were all there. Sydney looked so beautiful in her blessing dress. My dad has a tradition that he buys all the blessing ou
tfits for all of the grandkids when they get blessed. Her blessing
dress is what I always imagined it to look like, beautiful, white and long ( some even joked around asking if he will buy her Wedding dress... he politely said NO) After church we had a little gathering at our apartment with tons of family and friends. It was a wonderful time getting together celebrating her blessing ( and the food was good as well). Thank you for those who all came and celebrated Sydney's blessing with us. Quinton and I hope you all enjoy the pi
ctures and have a wonderful Holiday!!!
