I
am so proud of my husband. He works so hard for our little family. He recently took pictures of a tiling job, and if I do say so myself I think it turned out really well. I am just happy that I finally have a picture of some of his work. So if any of you need something tiled just look up Quinton (he also does hair).

It's my Birthday...
d do I feel it more then ever j/k. But my birthday was absolutely wonderful. Quinton took me to a Trans- Siberian Orchestra concert on Dec. 5, gave me some beautiful roses and also cut and highlighted my hair ( the joys of being married to a hair stylist). He is so wonderful to me. Sydney even slept all night as her present to me as well ( or I like to think of it as a present) We also went to my parents ward then later had a family dinner at their house as well. My b
rother, sister-in-law and all of their kids came as well to the dinner. It was such a wonderful time to be with my family. MY birthday was also the 2 year anniversary of when Quinton proposed to me ( how romantic). I still can not believe that I am 25 years old, been married for almost 2 years and has a 2 1/2 month old daughter. Where does the time go. Time has gone to fast but I have had a wonderful life with many family and friends to share it with. Thank you to all that called me and sent me birthday cards.
You all are great.Posted by Stephanie Montgomery at 11:53 AM 0 comments

Sydney's Blessing
ust love it. And to make it even better our little Sydney got blessed on Sunday December 2. I still can not believe that she is 2 months already... Amazing how time flies. But back to the blessing, it was an absolutely beautiful day. Quinton did a wonderful job and said wonderful things. My parents, Quinton's parents, brothers, sister-in-law and nephews were all there. Sydney looked so beautiful in her blessing dress. My dad has a tradition that he buys all the blessing ou
tfits for all of the grandkids when they get blessed. Her blessing
dress is what I always imagined it to look like, beautiful, white and long ( some even joked around asking if he will buy her Wedding dress... he politely said NO) After church we had a little gathering at our apartment with tons of family and friends. It was a wonderful time getting together celebrating her blessing ( and the food was good as well). Thank you for those who all came and celebrated Sydney's blessing with us. Quinton and I hope you all enjoy the pi
ctures and have a wonderful Holiday!!!

Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Quinton and I both hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving, I know that we did. Quinton,Sydney and me all went over to Quinton's parents house for Thanksgiving. It was a lot of fun and the food was wonderful ( I love mashed potatoes and stuffing...so good) but it was fun just spending the afternoon with Quinton's family. His older brother Ashley, wife
Bianca and their two boys Addison and Aaron we there along with Quinton's younger brother Colter and of course Quinton's Parents. So the house was not quite with all the little kids th
eir. After a wonderful meal we sat around the table and played Apples to Apples, which I do have to say is one of my favorite games. It seemed like we played for hours and hours, it was just fun sitting around the table with everyone and laughing and having a good time. After being at Quinton's parents house most
of the day Quinton and I came home and just crashed on our couch and feel asleep at 9:30 pm. I know it is embarrassing but we were exhausted. However, I do have to say that we had a wonderful Thanksgiving ( and Sydney as well even though she just had milk) filled with
love and laughter and family. We both hope that you all have a wonderful Holiday season as well.

Sydney's Frown
One of the cutest things Sydney does is her frown. Every time she starts crying she does this frown. It is kind of hard to take her seriously because she looks so cute and I start laughing every time. But we hope you enjoy the video!!!

Playing Dress Up

her...I am so excited. Speaking of getting bigger, Sydney was just weighed a couple of days ago and she weighed 1 ounce away from being 9 lbs. Yep, 9 lbs I can not believe how big she is getting now ( well I can sort of believe it by the way
she is eating ALL THE TIME. But going back to the dress up, the Santa Dress was given by my best friend Jennifer and the other one by a lady in our ward. But I think she looks so cute, however I think that Sydney was not as thrilled as I was by looking at her facial expressions. But I hope you all enjoy the pictures and have a great Thanksgiving.Posted by Stephanie Montgomery at 2:07 PM 0 comments

6 weeks old
Can you believe it that Sydney is already 6 weeks old and she is growing like crazy. Sad to say that our little preemie 6 lb Sydney is no longer here. She went through a crazy growth period and gained almost a pound in a week, yep a week. It seriously seemed like she was eating every hour. But we think Sydney is about 7 1/2 - 8 lbs now. Too bad her next doctor appointment is not till the end of
November so we are going to have to wait to see how much she really weighs. However, Sydney is getting bigger and bigger and makes new discoveries everyday. She now is starting to hold her head up and use her legs more often now. But the cutest thing that she has started to do is SMILE!!! Yep, my little girl smiles
now, and I am not just saying this because she is my daughter but she has the most beautiful smile in the world. However, getting a picture of this smile is proving to be a little bit more challenging, so far she is a little camera shy with her smiles ( which we'll have to change being that I am a photographer). But we love having her in our lives and still can't believe that she is ours and she is finally here. Quinton LOVES to hold her ( and I think that might be an understatement) it seems like he can not
get through the door and shower fast enough so he can hold her. If this continues she might never learn to walk. But I love how wonderful of a father Quinton is to Sydney, even though he seems to be more sleep deprived then I am. He changes her diapers, feeds and burps her. Yep, he does it all ladies and sorry he is taken. But sleep deprived or not we both love being parents to this wonderful little girl that has blessed our lives in so many ways.

Sydney's 1st Halloween
costumes for preemie/newborn size is not the easiest thing in the world. Thank goodness Quinton's mom found a preemie costume at ( where else...) Walmart!!! But I do have to say that Sydney was the cutest little pumpkin that I have ever seen. She loved the
Halloween party, even though she slept through it all. And to make that night even more special Sydney's best friend Avery ( who is 4 months older then Sydney) dressed up as a tootsie roll and her cousin Addison went as a nija. Thank goodness Avery was not older because I don't think that her cheeks would of fit into the costume. But it was a blast having our friends Tiffany and Justin there with little Avery.I still can't believe that Sydney is now 6 weeks old and we are now entering November. Where does the time go. But we hope you all had a
wonderful and safe Halloween
